Misfit is human too

What a difference three minutes can make. I was away in meetings all day and decided to sell the small spec stock holdings that I purchased two days ago at 6.02. Sold at 5.92 for a .10 cents loss after the runup this morning. Then three minutes later the stock halted. Hope my wife is not reading this post ;). I still have my core position though which makes me happy. I do not risk selling my core NOT on swings as this stock can do wonders instantly.

I write this to let everyone know that Misfit1 is human. I had to cover by tomorrow (in terms of the settlement date (I have never shorted a stock so that is not the cover I am talkinga about)) so I felt that timing was right after a $1.12 climb from the low. Oh well. Still in the same position I was three days ago so all is not lost.

Selling the spec did allow me to get into three side plays immediately after the halt. The same ones I have played with over the past couple of months - SPQ, PRB, and FWR. I know there are others but I like SPQ and FWR as they are tightly related to Noront in terms of JVs and Directors. Probe has property within 400M of Noront's claim to the North as Bravekind has pointed out in the past and I got in just in case their statement that this is open to the North holds true through drilling.

Regardless, no musings today. Just honest confessions of a trader. Keeping NOT long, playing with some on the side, and looking for overlaps on a few side plays.

M1.
