Director increased share amount by 50% - Rule of 72.

Rule of 72

The director who 'sold 25%' . No, he actually increased his share amount by 50%. ...

  1. He started with 100,000 shares and 200,000 options.

    He exercised all the options. So now he has 300,000 shares.
  2. He sells 100,000 shares privately for .82 each (to his mom?) Now he has 200,000 shares.
  3. He sells 50,000 shares to make $ (as rosedale says.. to pay for the options)
  4. Now he has 150,000 shares which is 50,000 more then he started with.

Hope that is clearer. It does get muddled. They start the story where they want to. And this is why they are able to squeeze the one out they want to tell. Then, oops, we had the wrong guy! But the 25% is still stuck in the public's mind.
