Another great post Herb... one thing... I don't think we could cause RN any more stress than his discovery has to him... he seems to be holding his own and I'm sure he is enjoying every minute of it. Just think how close he was to DF in 1997 and now he has made a hit. Can you imagine the frustration leading up to this. Freidman is rich, rich, rich, and what was Noront doing back then.... I really hope this explodes into a play bigger and better than Diamond Fields because we have better management (not that Friedman wasn't good on the marketing..it was more envirnmental side of him that I didn't know about and now don't like about him...yes he was exonerated..no I believe it was just great timing on his behalf...and yes he should have been forced to clean up and pay the bill... IMHO).
We also have to know that the shareholders will not put up with environmental damage as part of the mining process...like they may have back in the mid 90's. NOT everything is for profit..sometimes we need to give back and to protect as part of the cycle of life in the areas the mining ensues. It used to be that a job for those in the immediate area was all anyone should have expected from the company. The scene has changed for mining companies. It's been made easier for the management to put profits from the mine back into the surrounding community with the shareholders good graces. These things are all good....these things are all necessary.
