Message: Gold. OT?

The performing experts say that gold's price is all in the U.S. Dollar. Today, gold closed at $783.50 in U.S. funds. The U.S. Dollar Index(USDI) closed just under 77.00, a new recent low. The next stop, followed by lower levels, on the USDI appears to be at the 72.00 level according to Jim Sinclair.

The USDI recently broke an important support level around the 80.00 level. According to my analysis, gold has been in a major bull market since it bettered the $350 level some years back as it cruised through its 1000 day moving average. The recent strength in gold's price is just shadowing another down leg in the USDI.

I realize that gold's price is different in other currencies, I really only follow it in our currency.
