Long profitable winter

Good morning,

Cautions of less then stellar news releases, or even 'expected' releases, and their potential negative impact on price should be heeded. For longs, however, the caution I believe should be to do your best to remain strong during any such downdrafts. We've seen these before, many times. I think that these are getting a bit rougher for us, psychologically, as the climb gets higher... there being more to lose.

However, the fundamentals have only gotten better.

Re reading the Oct 10 news release (see portion below) I see every indication of more great things to come, with or without immediate stellar results.

The initial NOT claim was for 7,856 hectares (1 hectare = approx 2.5 US acres). Once the discovery was made, the size of the claim was doubled and another of the same size staked, for a total tripling of the original claim area.

Magnetic Surveying, around eagle one, began immediately with the initial discovery, and expanding outward, is continuing today.

Ramp at Windfall will soon be a reality. GOLD!

Other multiple projects in the works.

This story, to me, is still in its infancy. I would recommend deciding TODAY how you will react to a price tumble. Whether it is to stay fast, or sell some portion, it would be best for us to have a plan while the sea is just a little choppy, and not wait for the storm to strike to make life and death (well... feels like it!) decisions.

My choice today is to stay fast. It has worked up to this point. I also feel that with what we now have, any sudden drop will recover to a reasonable level in time. The worst that might happen? A protacted retrenchment to $3.50 while more work is done. The best that might happen? $20.00... +++++ the sky is the limit?

I'm staying with looking to the sky for now, even if it takes a few downdrafts to get there, I see a long profitable winter ahead.

Good luck to ALL of us, longs and players. Live long, live free and prosper!

BK

Portions of OCT 10.

Due to the irregular shape of the mineralized zone, that is being delineated and updated with each hole drilled, it is difficult to give an accurate estimate of true width. It is currently interpreted that the mineralized body is a massive sulphide magmatic nickel-copper mineralized body, of irregular dimensions, surrounded in part by net textured sulphides in peridotite within a much larger variably mineralized steeply dipping peridotite that has an 80 degree dip to the west, with a plunge along a southerly strike.

Property Expansion Status

In light of this exciting Nickel - Copper and PGE discovery, with high economic potential, Noront continues with an aggressive exploration and staking campaign and have dubbed the area the "Ring of Fire". Prior to Noront's initial discovery of the "Eagle One Ni-Cu-PGE occurrence", Noront held 32 individual claims totaling 491 units (7,856 hectares). Since the discovery on August 25, 2007, Noront has recorded an additional 38 claims totaling 608 units (9,728 hectares). An additional 48 claims have been staked totaling 623 units (9,968 hectares) and are in the process of being recorded by Noront. Presently, Noront has amassed an area within the "Ring of Fire" of 118 mining claims totaling 1,888 units (30,208 hectares).
