Red hand compromise?

Seems like a lot of people like that red hand!

I assume that folks don't want to flat insult someone, they just want to vote on whether a post is more or less of interest to them.

So... bring the red hand back but make the lowest possible score a neutral 'zero'.

In this way, no one gets offended, and no one will be reluctant to post for fear of the 'red', but those who enjoy voting red, or wish to counter a 'green', can still do so!

While we are at it, we might want to make a maximum green score as well. This will serve to keep the popularity vote factor is check. As in 'I love everything xyz posts'.

A possible score range of between 0-10. That should be enough to serve the purpose for which the hands are designed.
