This informtion is on the site an updated regularly albeit this was updated on October 3, 2007 so it may not have everything newsworthy. Its more to describe the company's interests. Just thought those who didn't know much about NOT could update their knowledge bank..this company does have the goods..and there will be a runup which wll likely last a good while based on the number of properties that can have news coming from them. Recent News: On September 27, 2007 Noront reported assays for 5th Hole from the Double Eagle project in Northern Ontario. Hole 5 results include; 68.3 meters averaging 5.9% nickel, 3.1% copper, 2.87 g/t platinum, 9.78 g/t palladium, 0.61 g/t gold and 8.5 g/t silver. 3 meter section of hole averaged 8.7% nickel, 10.9% copper, 40.79 g/t platinum, 14.57 g/t palladium, 9.39 g/t gold and 8.7 g/t silver. Recent News: On August 14, 2007 Noront along with Freewest Resources (TSX-V: FWR) announced the commencement of the first phase of diamond drilling. Freewest has contracted with Forage Orbit Garant Drilling to drill a minimum of 1,500 metres of NQ sized core in at least six holes.
