Message: Before DE - Valuations
The ideas on the SP is a very intriguing debate. What should an SP really be between the time and events that attracted us to invest in a stock and that point in the future that could promise stellar returns. It strikes me that you could come up with an SP for a stock given a calculation of what is presently in the ground, let's say 4$, however if it is then determined that future efforts have not yielded a financially valid deposit, perhaps making the project non viable (particularly given the lack of infrastructure in the JB area), then the previous 4$ valuation estimate would likewise no longer be viable (with the corresponding tanking that would take place). Therefore, what do any of the numbers mean until the product is weighed and tallied? We are all riding on numbers that are presently based more on d'ruthers than drills. Well it's speculation isn't it? We have the conservative and also the highly optimistic (not that the conservatives aren't optimistic) but all of the predictions whether lower or higher leave us all in the same camp .... speculators. They say it's not profit until you sell it. Likewise, it's not worth its present SP until you sell it at that point.
