I spoke with the Probe CEO at length about this very topic a fews weeks back, and took a position in probe as a result... See my original post below (are that is in bold)...

M1, Thanks for your reply. Its good that you have clarified your outlook for the $150/sh prediction. I understood that it was your longer-term dream price target, but others may have not. However, I stand by opinion that its a little optimisitic and also a little premature to discuss that on the forum now... My point in raising your previous end of 2008 price target of $10/sh, was that if NOT is going to $150/sh in the longer term, I think it would have to be much higher by than $10/sh by the end of 2008 - we will already know by then if we are dealing with world class deposits and have an idea as to how large they might be. I think the two price predictions are a little inconsistent, but you I am sure you have revised your 2008 price target upwards... I recall you saying "double digits" for '08 after I suggested to you that $20/sh would be more likley if things go according to our hopes. OT: PRB - At any rate, more importantly, I spoke to the PRB CEO for about 20 minutes last week, and stupid me, I forgot to ask him about those claims. Anyway, PRB does have on those properties adjoining NOT' discovery properties, magnetic anomalies with the same signuture as the one NOT drilled.... Albeit they are smaller (they could be deeper). They will be financing to raise enough cash to put in a grid, conduct conduct ground EM geophysics, and drill this year if the geophsycis are favourable. I asked if could drill this year, and if he could get a drill, and he said yes. Interstingly, I also noticed that PRB has 5% NSR (yes 5%) on an 2 million oz. Agnico gold property that is being developed in the Val D'Or area with production expected to commence in 2008. There is long story behind this NSR (apparently Agnico has not exactly been forthcoming about how much of the mine will be on the properties that have the PRB 5%NSR), but I think this an interseting little bonus with PRB that people are not paying attention to that could add signicant value to PRB even if their DE stuff flops. Apparently current PRB managment acquired PRB as a shell and found this 5%NSR, which in PRB's past life, was compensation for properties it optioned to Agnico that comprised part of the original dicovery area. In light of the above, I think PRB is one of the better Mc Fauld's Lake side plays for anyone who is interested. Its smarket cap is around $20m right now (cheap) and one of its properties is only 600m from NOT's discovery with similar geophysics anomalies. Regards, B. |
