Message: Hi.
al,
you ask for where the board members see the future price of noront. you bought in before double eagle hit, so some of the board members might be asking you!
anyway, you are new to the investing game according to your post. as such some things you might consider:
do your own homework,
what this means is read a quality site, such as this one, research using the web for other info, and use the companies own web site. learn to seperate the good info from the noise, lots of noise in the investment world. also lots of individuals (even here) with an agenda that might not serve you well. so this is the key to "do your own homework" which i constantly repeat. there is a bit of subtlety in this phrase that i am trying to convey, advanced traders understand what i say, however some newer traders might think i am suggesting that many more knowledgable traders are not willing to help, (mistaking the "do your own" part of the phrase, not the case at all. lots of great help on this site. however you have to do some heavy mental lifting once the info is presented to you, this way you can understand what you see and act quickly in the future when opportunity presents itself. this will even mean selling noront some future date. without a sound understanding of your investments the critical time to buy and sell might be missed.
if you rely on a guru, from a newsletter or even this site, to advise you on price points you will be disappointed. they can give you advice, and you should consider the advice, but you have to make the decision and you have to take responsibility for your own trades whether they be profits or losses. this is one of the keys to a successful trader/investor.
just getting on this site, and at the age of 17 shows you are way ahead of most investors, so good for you. it is an extremely rewarding business if you get good at it. i trade/invest for a living, it is an extremely good life if you are suited for it.
the other thing i often repeat in my posts also has a simple but often misunderstood meaning, that being:
be right and sit tight,
this means if you have done your homework, you will have the confidence to sit tight and ride a stock to its true value. without the homework you will lose confidence at the worst times as human emotions take control of your actions rather than studied logic. look at the investors who sold out near $2.50 AFTER the excellent news release, they for the most part did not understand what they had.
noront is a very interesting company, study it well, learn about mining (which will then be useful for other investments) and you will likely be able to make financially sound decisions on your own.
congrats on joining this site,
do your own homework,
be right and sit tight.
regards,
jeff
