I'm thinking about what you just said.
I have my shares (most) in 401K trading account. What you say makes sense about long term capital gain. Only question is... they could change the rules on us.
I will ponder some more. It is a shame that taxes cause so much expenditure of energy and time to figure out. I would love to see a simple consumption tax and let the rest go.
