Well, last week was the first week in over a month with no news from the monster we all know as NOT. Still, almost 15 million shares changed hands and the stock only lost $ .48 for the week. Not too bad for a stock that was trading at a meager share price of just $.36 on Aug 24th and had risen from the ashes to reach a new 52 week high of $4.99 on Sept 21st. With a price explosion like that, one would certainly assume a bout of profit taking to be probable.
So, what can NOT possibly do to top the fantastic assay results reported from Hole #5?
We now have numerous possibilties going forward for next week. We could have another week of no news and watch the share price slide as investor interest wanes and the volume of shares traded subsides. It's possible we could have assay results from Hole #7 or #8 sometime this week. Actually the possiblities are endless and for long term investors its mosty likely a pointless excercise to try and predict whats up next. That said, I will still give my best guestimate for whats on deck for next week for us NOT'acholics.
Due to the lower volume last week my spidey senses are telling me the shorts most likely piled on and are now at record levels. And why not, how could NOT possibly have better assay results than Hole #5 provided. The odds are against the possibility of us seeing results that would top #5. One could safely assume the "ring of fire" has topped out so to speak , as far as assay results go.
However, we now know NOT has the 'goods", the only thing left to find out is just how much of the "goods" do we actually have. This is the line in the sand that will decide if NOT is truely a monster or a mouse. My bet is on the side of the monster.
The next halt we get prior to the open, let it be Tuesday, or whatever day next week , I fully expect to see a new 52 week high on the share price, as the shorts get whats inside their knickers handed to them on a plate. Personally I loaded the boat on Friday and sit here licking my chops in anticipation, there is nothing like a good "short" rib feast !!!
