Here's a suggestion... Try addressing your posts and 'signing' them - its more personal. When one does not do this, it can leave the impression that the writer is being confrontational or is angry, unless its juts quick response to an ongoing dialogue.

And as you correctly point out, this medium can lead to micommunication since inflection and phyical cues are absent. With this in mind, I try to write my posts so that there is minimal ambiguity or potential for misinterpretation, but I do like to clarify my position when the inevitable misunderstandings or miscommunications arise... Don't take it so personal.
