 My take on the ramp is two fold. First they want to get an idea of the mineralization. Once the ramp is built, they will be able to visually eye the geology. Everything will be much clearer from inside the ramp.

 R.N. made it clear that they plan on building the ramp so that they will make contact with the best mineralization by intersecting core samples taken so far, including the 53 ozs / 16ft. In effect this will give a bulk sample of ore at WL. And the ore will generate cash.

That was my understanding of the plan at WL
