MJ nice post as usual.. high expectations with a does of reality. I don't think anyone here is foolish enough to drop their entire future into this play, which for the most part is still in a speculative stage. Most of the posters here, like you and I, are simply holding the dream..as you and I do.. that we will be part of history..part of something more than simply a "great find". We will profit and be proud we were a part of this whole thing. Stage by stage we will take lumps, hold our heads up and push forward to the next high. The market will always be there to take away the dream, and we all know that its simply "folley" to think otherwise... so we keep moving forward with management that has given us no reason to think otherwise.
This leaves two scenerios as an investor:
1. Product - Are we going to have a great product here and profit from it,
2. Management - If we can't determine "Item 1" then can we feel trust and strength of conviction in the the leaders of the company (namely Richard Nemis).
Item 1 - Drilling results have indicated we have an exceptional product in the ground and that albeit it is fantastic it is also not confirmed with respect to its area and feasability (tonnage). So at this point Item 1 is a given where we keep hopes high, but don't fool ourselves into becoming pumpers of the stock ourselves. We are "hoping and dreaming" this stock will fly high over the next months and years. Nothing more...nothing less.
Item 2 - Based on the investment strategy I have followed we cannot only dream but we must allow ourselves to follow the dreams of those who lead the company in its desired direction(s). With Noront those directions defined as "multiple plays", plays were one can push the stock price higher just as much as the other at this point in time...management has made sure we feel confident in that by releasing news regularly from more than one site. Management has held their shares even where, as Misfit1 stated earlier, they might want to be selling a few at a regular rate so as not to give false signals to its investors and bashers (yes they are there with any successful stock play). Management has a plan that markets this stock well and provides its sharehold community an open forum where we can "openly" discuss anything NOT. I find that comforting and I find it comforting that no one is allowed to pump or bash the stock on this forum.....and I feel even more confident that unlike most laws that are never enforced...that will not happen here..keeping a leveled discussion plane moving forward. And finally...I can't get it out of my head the way RN reacted to the find...thats not something you see often...the man was excited to the point where he couldn't hold it in...the man, I expect would not make a great gambler...he can't hold the stare.... I just hope he gets his dream motherlode at this time in his career.. and that we can all share his pride and jubulation with him after the speculative phases move into this hopefully being "the real thing...the motherload of motherloads".
In conclusion..management cannot make the ore be located in the ground (unless your Bre-X). Management can make the stock stay leveled during the speculative stages. RN is doing everything to do that and that is all we can ask of management at this time. Good work RN.. great work posters..tons of great info moving through here.
