In the Aug 16th news release, at the start of this program, they mention TWO anomolies. They drilled the southern one first. and are still drilling it
Any ideas what the northern one will turn out to be? They were thinking maybe kimberlite. But this was before target #1 turned out to be what it is. Anybody else thinking that they may have changed their minds now? Could nickel or pgms give off a similar signal? Maybe that is where the second drill is going?
From the release:
Drilling of the southernmost anomaly will test for massive sulphide style mineralization, while the northernmost anomaly is a magnetically rendered di-polar anomaly, with magnetic similarities to kimberlites found in the Kyle group of kimberlites located about 70 kilometers to the east.
