Yes. And if you want to sell (don't ) before they actually show up at your brokers (takes 3-9 business days for all the paper shuffling to be finalized within the system(s)) you have to be very sure of exactly how many shares you will have in each new company. Your broker will not accept responsibility if the calculation is off by one or two, in which case you will pay  (odd lot share cost and commission ) to cover the difference....
