 There are exceptions,,,,I could not cut and paste everything. In most cases TSX wants trading to continue at all times.

 Under extraordinary cases,,,,halts can remain for over 24 hrs is my take on it.

 Like I said,,,,I think the unusual volume led everyone to believe that a leak had occurred,,,,so until the assays are complete,,,NOT is halted.  Otherwise some would have an unfair advantage over others.....
