If anyone's looking for a good little potash/ag play with fantastic potential, WPX, Western Potash started trading today.

I saw these guys at PDAC and have been waiting on the IPO since then. Was lucky to get in at 1.00 I think. It did the little dip off open. It's a Manitoba company, the only Potash play there and the Manitoba gov't is doing much for them to encourage the development of the company and resource. I also really liked the managment team and have spoken to them a few times.

I would have actually taken part in the IPO but it was way over subscribed. I compared them to another play, Ray.v which also has potential but I didn't like the folks running the company much. They were nice but very unprofessional. WPX is pro all the way.

I know a lot of people suggest that Potash is way over done now but if you look at the numbers and growth potential it's still got a long, long way to go. The one thing that may hold back WPX for awhile is that they have a lot of warrents outstanding. However, I suspect interest in the commodity will overcome that.
