No the metal is not aluminum. It's lighter than aluminum but is not used on it's own but rather as an alloy with aluminum to make a lighter metal. It's used in aircrafts but the real potential for the metal is in something completely different.

Also the company is not Rio. RIO has a P/E ratio of 38, which is actually not that expensive but this companies is about 5.5 so very CHEAP. They also pay a dividend of about the same percentage as RIO. While Rio's stock is 500 per share, this companies shares trade a price that most people could afford to buy more than 5 shares :)

This company is also a large multinational but I doubt you've ever heard of it. What's more, while they are the largest producer of this particular metal, they are also a major producer of plant nutrients and industrial chemicals.
