QQ, newbie or not, you need to be a geologist to fully understand the meaning of results. I've been looking at them for years and still confused by it all.

The grades can be deceiving because there are so many factors such as how long but also how deep before they encountered any gold. Is it on the surface so will make an open pit?

How does the geology compare to other known strikes in other places? That's quite important because if the geology looks like another previous strike and you start to get grades and cores that look similar then this is very positive. A prospector is much like a sports scout. They see a young kid who looks a lot like Gretsky did when he was that age... then they see him scoring a lot of goals in junior hockey and they think maybe they've got the next Gretsky.

Niogold's deposit is in one of the very most important regions in the history of gold production. The grades are starting to look quite strong and promising. I am not sure about more than that. We'd have to talk with their geologist for that.
