Why the low share price

Someone asked why the share price on the other board. I think that's a great questions so here is my response...

That's a great question. After all, a declining share price more often than not represents problems within the company. However, great investors, like Warren Buffet, are great bottom fishers and are able to find those companies whose share price has been taken down for either reasons outside the company or issues that are easily corrected. In the case of Niogold, I believe it's a bottom fisher's dream!

First understand that Pinetree Capital was a very large investor in NOX. Last summer as hedge funds started to melt down Pinetree was forced to liquidate many of it's holdings including NOX. For weeks on end they continually dumped NOX shares into a market that was illiquid. NOX share price just couldn't deal with this kind of selling pressure at that time of year. This created downward momentum which the company never required from. Technicals appeared weak and that fueled more selling pressure. As a backdrop to all of this has been a sector which has been under heavy pressure as well. Finally we end up with Roulston downgrading the stock last week to a 2c.

However, the upsides to this stock remain. They have 5 geologist working on the project, have added properties and I think are actively looking at others. They are currently drilling two targets and are adding a 3rd drill next week. Results will be coming soon and will be coming steadily thereafter. They're well financed and have a relatively low share float.

As for Roulston's downgrading... I believe it was somewhat of an error. I've looked into the matter and there is real potential for a reversal here. I'll tell you this-- in this case LR relied on information that he did not collect himself when he made that decision and I believe that there was miscommunication or flaws in that situation. In the main time, Jay Taylor still feels strongly about the stock and I believe his recent track record is actually stronger than LR's. Look for more analysts to come on board soon as well.
