The Yukon is getting hotter again

We have seen some nice new drill results by ATAC, Kaminak and Golden Predator with subsequent share price appreciation. Although GPD initially gained some ground that couldn´t be sustained, unfortunately.
I think with POG still on the move and more drill results coming in from the "major Yukon players" we should be looking towards companies that will be drilling in 2011.
I will try and get a list of companies that announced drill programs for 2011 in the Yukon, because those will be the ones that might see some share price appreciation (if they find some precious metals).
Most of the 100 or so explorers now active in the Yukon won´t get to the drilling stage this year because they just commenced basic exploration on their properties (IP surveys, soil sampling, trenching).
And because the exploration spending will exceed a record breaking $ 250M this year, everything in the Yukon is limited (staff, drill capacities, fuel, crew accomodation, helicopters and even staking tags, Mr. Sheriff (lol)).
So, if a company hasn´t already secured equipment and especially drill rigs by now, there will most likely be no drilling in 2011 anyway (for example, Smash paid $ 70.000 to get an option for a drill rig !).
My list of companies which will actually drill in the Yukon in 2011 is going to start with the obvious ones (from the top of my head):
1. ATAC
2. KAMINAK
3. GOLDEN PREDATOR
4. SILVER QUEST
5. NORTHERN TIGER
Followed by the companies from my TOP5 list:
6. SMASH MINERALS
7. PACIFIC RIDGE
8. ETHOS CAPITAL
9. NEW PACIFIC METALS
10. TARSIS (most likely, but will double check)
Feel free to add to that list (but please, only companies which announced drilling by PR).
The next few month will be very exciting for some Yukon players, for sure.
Happy investing !
