Taku Commences Exploration in the Yukon

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 24, 2011) -Taku Gold Corp. (the "company") (TSX VENTURE:TAK) is pleased to announce that its 2011 exploration season is well underway in the Dawson area of Yukon. A thirty person camp has been constructed to accommodate the exploration staff. The camp is located at the centre of Taku's various properties such that all claim blocks lie within a 35 kilometer radius of the camp. The camp is easily accessible by road and will be supplied from Dawson City. Currently there are seventeen people on site and exploration work in progress involves deep auger-type soil sampling. Taku intends to collect up to 30,000 soil samples in 2011. It is expected that this work will be followed up by trenching and drilling later in the season.
