Golden Predator (GPD.TO) is a hot Yukon story, especially after their latest drill results (74m @ 7,08 gpt Gold). But look at their past results, lots of good to excellent grades.
I really like the aggressive management with Bill Sheriff at the helm (Ex-Chairman of EMC, bought by Uranium One for $ 1.6 Billion !).
Interesting royalty strategy that might pay-off big time in a couple of years.
Only downside for me was the share structure, over 150M shares fully diluted (but strong cash position). That was the main reason, GPD didn´t make it to my TOP5 list.
But definitely worth a look.
As for Ryan Gold (RYG.V), yes they have a very interesting property package from Shawn Ryan (over 50 properties in different exploration stages). But with 100M shares out f/d and a $2 price tag, they are already valued @ $200M, which is quite lofty without any drill results. I´m not saying that RYG might not gain market cap even from this point, but they need to deliver quite a bit and some more to confirm this valuation.
And my big question was, has Shawn Ryan saved the best properties for himself (and now RYG) or were they sold earlier to various other juniors ?
Time will tell, but RYG was just "too expensive" for me to make it to my TOP5 list.
On another note, there was some late action from one of my TOP5 list players today:
PEX.V
ECC.V has gained some ground over the last week after heavy promotion on various fronts.
NUX.V was hit hard by constant selling from one house (on the positive side, alot of those shares were picked up by Anonymus).
TCC.V is sidetracking after some minor losses, Mexico news still pending (NES area play).
And my #1 SSH.V is also hovering around the $1 mark without any news, nice entry level, I think !
