You're stuck in 2008.
A lot of people then placed their trust in 'hope'. Many have since awakened. Including, apparently, the NYT, the ACLU, Rachel Maddow, etc.
And BTW, it originated in the Senate by McCain. You know, the guy that didn't espouse much hope.
Even Sotero said that the law wasn't constitutional, but that would be remedied by changing the laws (and signing new ones) in the future that would make the NDAA legal. Like the ones pointed out in my earlier post.... which you fail to acknowledge.
Nice try. I guess you missed that in his speech discussing the NDAA after it was signed.
Now that you know McCain authored the bill you can see why real constitutional conservatives sat out the election... McCain / Sotero.... they were the same, just one was driving us to ruin and the other flying us to ruin. Same destination, different timeline.
Let's see... McCain / Senate / Democrat control.
And the Republican House has 10 real jobs bills that can't get to the floor of the Senate with Reid blocking them.
Nice try again.
So if it was a bad bill by the house, *(which it wasn't) then why sign it into law? (Especially when you say you would veto the law.)
No answer for that, I'm sure. The house doesn't sign bills into law..... or did you miss that in Civics 101?
