Alas, the vacation was called off because some uppity Tea Baggers want to cut off health care for poor women, and Obama and the Democrats won't have anything to do with that.

They've given the uppity Tea Baggers 75% of what they have asked for, and the spineless Republicans won't show any backbone to the Tea Baggers to compromise with the Democrats and Obama.

So, alas, no vacation but that won't stop the Tea Baggers from saying Obama was "planning" a vacation, and blaming the government shutdown on him.
