The debt, the debt and the debt.

These are the three most important issues facing our country and the biggest threat to our way of life. Thank God that Fox news covers it instead of issues like gay marriage, what Michelle Obama is wearing, Obama's basketball picks, the gobal warming hoax or how racist and extreme the Tea Party is which you'll find on the liberal mouth piece news networks.
The debt is over 14 trillion and experts are saying we have a very short window to address it before we end up like Greece.
Since Obama took office he and his liberal cronies have increased the debt much faster than it was expected to grow with irresposnible spending. This spending has only put us in a much deeper recession and is only making it much harder for us to dig our way back out. The sad part is the liberals want to spend more money we don't have. At this point entitlement spending, social security, medicare, and the military will have to take cuts in order to address the problem including new tax restructuring. The suggestions from the experts seem to fall on deaf ears with Obama. Perhaps it is his lack of leadership and a fact that he is too inexperienced to be president. Two years in the senate and his only other exerience being a community organizer. He seems to have a long learning curve probably because he grew up and associated with people that were extremists who hated America. He seems to be learning on the fly. The question is how much longer can we afford him and his leading us in the wrong direction?
I can understand growing the government under Bush because we had 911 and Catrina which were two of the biggest disasters in US history. Their were new government agency's created to address these problems. But under Obama the number of people working for the federal government has doubled in just two years. Their are more people that work for the federal and state governments today than work in farming, manufacturing, mining and fishing combined. I don't think this was the intention of the founding fathers. The problem with everyone working for the government is that they don't have to compete. They can charge as much as they want and vote in pay raises, benefits, retirement packages and protections for less qualified workers based solely on race, gender or seniority. The private sector has to compete and therefore operates much more efficient than the government.
We must put Americans back to work and rid ourselves of foreign oil as it is crippling our economy and putting our country at risk. The government must remove the barriers that keep Americans from drilling our own oil and building new refineries here in this country with American workers. We must do this to drop fuel prices in the near term and buy more time to convert the country to greener/renewable energy a transition that can occur over the next 50 years rather than tommorow.
We must reclaim our government from the liberals and extremists hell bent on destroying it to create a socialist country with everyone beholden to the government for their existance. These problems we face can be corrected with common sence leadership. The philosophy of the Tea Party is the right direction for the country and for our childrens future. We must be responsible, balance the budget, help those that truly need help and get government out of our way so the private sector can thrive.
