I shake my head in disbelief as I hear the report that NYC has cleared the way for the building of an Islamic mosque within a stone's throw of "ground zero."

This is a Christian country, no matter what the ACLU has to say about it. The middle East religion has pledged a takeover of our religious traditions and with this latest slap in the face, it looks as though they may be successful.

In case anyone would like to research this, check out "The Trinity Decision". The question of whether America was a Christian country or not was answered by the Supreme Court in 1879 (or very close to that date) After YEARS of research and reading all materials presented, The Supreme Court declared that indeed this was a Christian country. ( Incidentally, because it was a Christian nation, freedom of religion was written into the first amendment to the Constitution.)

In the 1930's, under FDR and his "New Deal", the ACLU brought suit again and this time, in about 2 weeks, the Supreme Court declared that we were not a Christian nation.

There has been an attempt ever since to deny that Christian ideals and beliefs played a major part in the founding of America.

This latest insult to real Americans is another step toward the destruction of everything that patriotic Americans hold dear.
