Politics my friend. If I was to point out all the inconsistencies of the "conservatives" on almost any issue, you'd lose your concentration too.

Maybe it also points out the fact that President Obama is not as liberal as he is portrayed, and is being pragmatic in this particular case. I would think that the conservatives would support this decision of the Commander In Chief.

But, that would be consistent with their beliefs, hence it won't happen.
