When the votes are in, legislation is passed, the president signs it, it becomes law.

That's how it works in this country. That's how it has always worked in this country.

What is wrong with that?

If you don't like it, then maybe you live in the wrong country ... you would be a good fit for failed Nazi Germany perhaps.
