Well, firstly, I would say that no one facet of that article is less important than any other. And, in fact, the health care debate was not the main focus of the article, contrary to what was suggested by your headline; the whole point of the article concerns Obama's failure to come to grips with the necessity of dealing with the financial world in such a way that the debacle of 2008 is not repeated.

In answer to your question, my main reason for quoting those paragraphs here is that Taibbi directly contradicts the great majority of views which continue to be expressed here on a daily basis and which are echoed in the paragraphs I pulled out. I would therefore like to find out who the two other posters are who gave your post a thumbs-up, and their reasons for so doing. I look forward to their responses.
