Stevie Y & Gordie Howe still reside in the Detroit area.....Talk to me if/when Cindy even approaches what Stevie accomplished in his great career, one of the all-time GREATS...

Gordie (Mr. Hockey), with no disrespect to Gretzky, who I've met and chatted personally, is revered as the Best All-Around Hockey player to EVER lace up the skates, by many , many writers and conniseurs of the game. I saw Gordie play many years at the Olympia. FYI, Gordie didn't have a backhand shot. Why? He just switched positions of his hands on the stick!!..He hit harder than Oveckin and was more of a prescence on the ice than Mario, who I really, really respect and admired. Gordie was incredibly strong and very rugged player and played without a helmet. Gordie also has more goals, assists, and longetivity than Mario. His longetivity records will never be broken IMO..
