Sorry, though, that you have trouble with anything "intellectual". I may not be an American but I do have a direct interest, along with everyone else on the planet, of doing my best to make sure that any politician who thinks the world got 'created' from scratch only a few thousand years ago and who thinks it'll end in Armageddon does not get her painted fingernails anywhere near the nuclear button.

For the majority of our countrie's history, most of our Presidents and politicians thought exactly that, that God created this world and that it will end in the end days. In the short history of our country, it's only in it's most recent history that that point of view has changed. But I don't think you or anyone else are going to bad mouth our founding fathers and their beliefs. The fact is, is that this country is going downhill. The further we get away from our founding roots and values, the worse off we are. Conservatives try to conserve the good things that made this country great. Liberals are the ones who bring us down by trying to "change" everything; and not for the better. The results speak for themselves.
