Instead of the discussing ad infinitum back and forth on this board (which in and of itself is a great place to discuss ideas and get facts etc)......

I Strongly suggest that we all (I have) take the time to contact all of the Congressmen and women in Washington.

Not only the ones that represent you and your district and State but All of them as what they vote on affects us all of us in the USA.

Call and email and do so with respect but with strong words of how we feel disenfranchised and angry (if you do that is which I do).

High paid lobbyist are in their offices everyday (why do you think there is no health care tort reform - lawyer lobbyist) so why shouldn't we be on the phone and email them everyday.

Set up a system in your computer and get the information off and have their office #'s on speed dial.

www.senate.gov/

Email all of your like minded friends and relatives tell them to call or write or email and tell them to tell their friends.

If a Congress person says that since you are not in their state they do not care what you say tell them you (we) can support their opponent just as the lobbyist do with money. It may only be a small check but there are millions of us and five and ten dollars from millions add up quickly - So Let Us Take Back Our Country and do so by doing something productive.

Let those folks inside the beltway know that though they may not think we have a brain we do and once again make sure the folks in your address book send their own personalized messages. I do not think form letters and emails work as well as one from our hearts and minds.
