With all due respect you need to do as much research, on these proposed sweeping healthcare changes, that you have on PTSC. If your endorsement comes from your desire to have PTSC succeed then I might be able to understand. However, I would give up the entire current value of my PTSC shares to have this legislation turned back. I will need an extremely quick, substantial return on my investment to pay for what could be signed into law by the first of next year.
Thank god this bill passed only out of a committee. I just spent the majority of my morning listening to senate testimony on the matter. Senator after senator commented on the lack of clarity of the bill in it's current state, the lack of support from their constituents, their understanding that costs will shift from one sector to another and not really make healthcare any cheaper and in the end, it will still leave some 25 million uninsured. Some of these same senators still voted to move this bill out of committee, when they themselves acknowledge it still needs much more work. What's the rush? Doesn't anybody want to do things right anymore?
This committee's actions resemble so much, the mistakes made by the PTSC board, that I simply cannot believe the "best people" are really in position to represent the majority in either case.
IMO of course.
