You finally have something that I agree with. Actually, two things. However, as you know, the Dems started this socialism under FDR. They are the things you talk about in your quoted statement below. Probably a better solution back then would have been to take the taxed FDIC money and invest it in private funds for one's retirement. Where have I heard that before?

The second thing you said was that we are leaving it to our grandchildren to pay. Again you are correct. I do however think that they may have been able to pay the Bush debt a lot easier than what we have heaped on them now.

If you owned a company that was in financial trouble, would you spend rediculous amounts of money to save it or, would you cut back on areas of spending so that you could survive to fight another day?

I had hoped this guy would do the "right thing" for the country even though I did not vote for him. So far he has been a huge disappointment!!!

We, as a country, should declare bankruptcy. We should stop all foreign aid, except to proven allies, and tell all others to kiss our ass.
