The real problem.....

Reading all the latest posts proves that the biggest problem that we are facing now is the tremendous growth of government that has taken place.

Start at any point and you will find an effort to increase the size, cost and control ( or reach) of the federal government.

Our Founding Fathers pledged their lives, their wealth and their sacred honor to give us a government that is unique. Never in history had there been a document like the U.S. Constitution which made rules for the government, rather than for the people.

The power hungry criminals of the world have, since America's founding, attempted to subvert us and yes, it is a Conspiracy. (A "dirty word", I know......but the best description yet available) The warnings have been given to the people for decades, but have been ignored or belittled. The apathetic public didn't want to be bothered to learn the truth or to discover who it was that set out to destroy those telling the truth and attempting to warn Americans of an eventual disaster.

We are paying a huge price for ignoring the truth when it was still possible to slow down and stop the coming dictatorship.

FW: Regardless of what Snopes reports as the origin of the outline for the failure of freedom, that report has been around for a long time. I read it for the first time in the 60's. (As a young woman then, I was not atpathetic)

DYS: While unions were (and still are) a necessary entity, in many cases and notably the AFL-CIO of the auto industry, they have become a case of the tail wagging the dog. As a teen-ager in Detroit, I witnessed the GM auto strike following the end of WWII and remember hearing a neighbor telling my dad that he was opposed to the strike, but could never get called on in a union meeting because they knew what he was going to say to the men. As a young adult, I learned that while that 3 month strike was taking place and hundreds of families were literally going hungry and dependent on their churches and other charities to survive, the factories were busy retooling from defense manufacturing to a return of auto manufacturing. Had the company simply laid their workers off, it would have cost them a bundle in unemployment while they handled the changes, but they were fortunate enough to have an enemy (Walter Reuther) to call a strike and demand higher wages..........much less costly than the unemployment would have been. When I discovered this, it answered a question that had been in the back of my mind for a long time. I had always wondered why GM provided the union offices in the General Motors Building at no charge for Walter and "his boys."

While the political parties appear to be enemies of one another, they are actually being run by the same crowd and deserve no loyalty. George Washington warned us about the dangers of "party loyalty" and no one pays any attention to that either.

Why does it state in the the Constitution that only Congress should coin our money when today it's the Federal Reserve that manages the printing presses? The Federal Reseve System is privately owned.

Oh, well, this has done nothing to cure my insomnia.......just allows some venting. We really should all wake up!
