The problems in this country are a direct result of an uninformed and/or apathetic electorate..........and that's going back to the years before the WWI.

Our Constitution is the most beautiful governmental document ever created. For the first time in history the people were given rules that governed the government, not rules that governed the people.

The troubles we're experiencing are not because of the form of government or because of the Constitution, but rather they are a result of the perversion of the Constitution.

For anyone interested in the original intent of the authors of that document, the writings of the Founding Fathers and "The Federalist Papers" are available in any library and probably on many internet sites.

Eli, I truly believe that if you had been born and raised in any other country on earth, it would be unlikely that you would be able to go golfing, attend sporting contests or spend time at the country club of your choice. America has been the Land of Opportunity for many of us who would have nothing unless we had been born to wealthy parents.
