Yes these people have a sence of community that has gone bye bye for most of Americans today. They don't live in a dog eat dog society. They have a moral compass centered around Christian faith. They teach and live the 10 commandments. These are wonderful people that live much simpler lives than us raising large families. All of them generation after generation live to a very high moral standard. If one of their houses burns down they use money collected in the menonite churches all across the United States to pay for the rebuild. When one builds a house or a barn the whole community chips in and lends a hand the women bake, the men work and the kids play. They don't have television, the latest cell phone or computer or electronic gadget. But they do have each other family, friends and God and from what I see they have it figured out. They all have big gardens and produce much of the food they eat for the winter. Their kids go to school at the church. Most don't go to college, yet all appear to be very happy, healthy and able to hold great jobs and consistently raising great families free of crime, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, poverty, abuse and divorce. All without government handouts. How is this possible?
All the best,
Steve
