One of the funnier things I read once was the battle that the enviromentalists were giving......the environmentalists, over the windfarm that is located just east of San Francisco in the Altamont Pass. Just goes to show you that you just can't please some people.....EVER!!!

The wind farm was forced to shut down at one point because it was killing birds....actually, birds were killing themselves....but that's another cause that a group has to be formed to provide support for..lol. Turns out that this wind farm was in a location that is also a migratory path for birds and hunting ground for certain raptors. Just goes to show you that sometimes "Green is NOT good!" lol

Not trying to stir up trouble as I'm all for wind and other alternative energy sources, but this kind of struck my funny bone when it happened and has stuck in my memory since. But it does go to show you that with every solution, new problems arise.
