Obama is reaping the benefit of this crisis. Steve is right in saying that the Democrats have their fingerprints all over this mess. So lets see in 2005 McCain wants to rein in Freddie and Fannie but the Democrats in Congress say no all is fine, McCain cancels his campaign to go back to DC to do the work he and Obama were elected to do and what does McCain get for doing the right thing in2005 and this past week? A slam in the press, ridicule by Obama and a steep drop in the polls.

What is the old say that no good deed goes unpunished.....

Two weeks ago McCain said that the fundamentals of the American economy are good ..... and he was slammed by Obama and the our unbiased journalist as being senile and befuddled. Interesting but today Obama used those exact same words and where is the uproar.... there isn't any....

If I was McCain I would get off my rocking chair and start hitting back.... If you have to pay to get the truth out then do it... in the next debate no more Mr. nice guy.... I want the tough guy who made it through the Hanoi Hilton.
