(folks be prepared for a long one.....)

Before being elected President, Honest Abe stated that countries around the world considered the United States a country of hypocites as we proclaimed that we were the country of liberty and freedom for all and yet we upheld the practice of slavery.... Until Abe corrected that by law they were right.....

And now

I refer you to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Obama as prime examples of hypocites the world laughs at and is angry at....

The world looks at the USA and sees a country led by hypocites. We are a country that lives off of energy. We say we are world leaders and yet our country the USA amongst all the countries with large energy reserves refuses to exploit those reserves where ever they exist in our great God blessed country. President Bush authorized and sold over 450 leases - leagally to oil companies to explore for and develop new sources of oil for domestic use. To date not one of these leases have had drilling on them as the ACLU and the Sierra Club, all backers of Pelosi and Ried have kept the oil companies tied up in courts with law suits. You can bet that when our National democratic leaders say that it will take over ten years to bring new sources of oil on line they knew that their friends would keep the oil companies tied up in court. All these lease sales were legal per the rules set up by Congress. Remember is was Democratic Presidentila candidate Obama who said he wanted gas prices to rise just not too fast but he wanted them to go up!

What foriegn country do you think respects the words and actions coming out of Washington? They know if this democratic party trend continues and we will keep taking a large percentage of the oil being recovered from all areas around the world other then our own. Therefore world prices will stay high, economies will be hurt world wide and Americans will be the worst for all of this. Ee will be hurting their economies and thanks to our Democratic leaders we are hypocrites and will deserve that title.

We dictate and preach how other countries should live their lives and run their countries yet because our leaders refuse to do the right thing they are causing energy prices to spike world wide. Not only are hundreds of billions of our dollars flowing to countries unfriendly to our goals and ideals we are causing massive disruptions in the economies of our friends and foes alike.

Russia who was recently cleaning up on high energy prices and because of that felt they had the power over us to saber rattle and eventually invade Georgia did so because they knew they controlled the oil high ground. They control a good % of the oil and gas that keeps the lights on in Europe so where are the Europeans going to go for their energy needs if they complain of the Russian aggression, not to us right? Iran threatens unrest in the Middle East and threatens the existence of Isreal and what can anybody do about it, nothing as long as the world depends on Middle East oil and why does the world depend so heavily on that source of oil? Because our leaders are hypocrites, American oil sources could relieve a lot of the pressure currently facing the true democracies of the world.

Now, if Pelosi and Reid and Obama and the rest of the liberal democratic left did not have such heavy restrictions on drilling for oil off shore as well as on shore there would be some lee way in how the worlds need for energy would be distributed.

If we did not have such heavy restrictions on building safe nuclear power plants then we would not only be close to or at energy independent but we would be providing relief to all true democratic governements around the world. Our leaders should be showing the world that America cares and is smart enough and strong enough to not only advance toward clean energy but in the meantime realizes that fossil fuels which we have a lot of as well as nuclear is the energy sources of the here and now.

Japan, who is without natural sources of oil of their own is the largest user of nuclear energy in the world (this is the country that is the only one in history that has an atomic attack on it's soil and yet it's leadership has led it into the peaceful nuclear age. France also who we laugh at for being tech challenged also relies on nuclear for 80% of it's energy.

We have a National Leader (Nancy Pelosi) that refuses to drill for fossil fuels and in fact says we will no longer drill for fossil fuels goes ahead in the same National talk show and says we need to drill for more natural gas - without realizing that natural gas is a fossil fuel, thank you Nancy Pelosi. This is the National leader who has just forced the House of Reps to pass a sham of an energy bill. Her bill raises royalties paid to the federal governement but does not allow royalties to be paid to states.

Peolosi's bill that halts drilling FOR EVER anywhere within fifty miles of the the USA coastline where it is a fact that most of our billions and billions of reserves are stored. Harry Reid the Senate leader says oil is dirty and is killing us and the World laughs and shutters in horror.

The world knows what a sham drilling bill Pelosi is promoting but our liberal media hails it as a break through and if it does not pass because it is a sham she will blame any politican who did not pass it.

(Let Gov. Sarah Palin debate Pelosi or for that matter let her debate Obama on this issue in fact I dare Pelosi or Obama to put up or shut up....let the Governor of Alaska teach you both a lesson on energy and integrity and what the USA stands for in).

May the American electorate who is losing their independence and wealth to the ignorance of our National Democratic leaders wake up and realize that Obama in the White House and Reid and Pelosi in the Congress assures the World that America is not only a country ruled and run by hypocrites but is also a country on the decline.

Obama basically said this when he gave his prime time speech a few months back in Germany and unless we the people step up ........

well lets just say Honest Abe knew what he was talking about and so he took the word hypocite out of the lexicon of how the world felt about America when he freed the slaves. Now it is time for us to have a real leader to lead our entire country to energy freedom and show the world that we are the world leaders most of us think we are. That leader is not Obama, Pelosi, Biden or Reid. They see America as a cog in the wheel of the world we need a leader who sees America as the wheel that moves the world
