You are absolutley right, a republican would be pummeled, under similar circumstances. I watched that interview with Obama over and over just to watch him say what he did. I'll tell you what. He already looks like he knows he is not going to pull this off. But what can the dems do? He is their chosen one and the race isn't over yet - he has to continue on. I feel that there will be some very low blows delivered in the next 50 days. I think in his heart Obama can feel America turning on him and they are gradually filing to the republican side.

Watch for the dems to go down swinging. Biden will embarass himself at some point(probably more than once). A look now at the electoral map shows the dems winning only the largest urban area states and they lead in the electoral. In the end I expect Mcain will pick up Mich., Florida and Ohio and the majority of the toss up interior states and win big in an unexpected fashion. Let's continue to hope so anyway.

The media is something else. One day, when everybody can get the news they want from other sources, the main stream networks will run themselves out of business because of there personal agendas. IMO of course.
