"Answer the tough questions, remains to be seen."
Maybe you are right, but I have not heard Obama answer even the easy questions. I have not 100% made my mind up, but I painfully watched both the DNC and RNC, and it appears that McCain is more prepared to be president than Obama. Obama is a great speaker, but he doesn't say anything. I ask myself what will we get with either candidate? Obama...all I hear is higer taxes and more bureaucracy. McCain, well my worry was that he would be more of the last 8 years, but after listening to him, he doesn't come across that he would be, rather he seems to be no BS kind of guy. Plus, I think his painful understanding of war will actually help us get out of Iraq the right way. Of course all we get from all of the candidates is lip service at these conventions, but if all we have to go by is past service and promises today, than today I am leaning towards McAin. I am worried about his age though. Both my parents looked to be in better shape than he at 72, my father died at 74, and mother at 75. So, that is definitely a concern. Palin, I liked her. She came a cross as a real person. I liked that. Lastly, had to laugh at what Rudy Giuliani said when talking about Obama's history for constantly changeing his mind, "Biden might want to get that VP thingie in writing". LOL IMO the conventions are nothing but a show, but now the rubber hits the road when these two debate, so hopefully we will ge to see and learn really what these two are really about, and hopefully we will all be able to cast a vote and feel good about our decission.
