Thank you all for your participation and contributions within the AGORACOM Community. Now we understand that politics can be a heated debate; after all it is in the nature of politics to fuel such discourse. Now the purpose of the Off Topic forum has been setup for you where you can express your opinions on topics other than Patriot Scientific.

Free speech is a basic human right but so is civility and understanding. By expressing an opinion in a libelous or offensive manner is an infringment of free speech.

Now if you have a dissenting opinion or if your approach is way outside consensus you can feel free to express it.

We are very well aware that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that is very highly regarded; what we cannot understand or tolerate is somebody choosing their own "facts" or acting outright childish.

Also we recognize that it is often very difficult to prove a negative — that something perceived to be true is not, or that you did not do something for the reasons or motivations suggested by someone else (the majority). In my experience, naked denials, in contrast to unsubstantiated claims, often fall on deaf ears and lazy minds.

With that said please bear in mind that the opinions regarding the upcoming Presidential election in the US will bring a clash of opinion which is all very welcome as through healthy debate come great conclusions. However you are kindly advised to respect another’s opinion as there are more than one ways to approach any topic and as long that it adheres to AGORACOM’s standards that is fine.

Any remarks in violation to our six rules of use however will be removed.
