Until recently my wife and I have been buying tomatoes on the vine at the store. When you smell them, it's hard to beat that smell.

But recently we've been going to a farmers market they have every Saturday near our house. Besides all the other yummy locally grown veggies, I'm now sold on fresh homegrown Beafsteak tomaotes. I don't know if they're the end all and be all of tomatoes; but right now they're tops in my book.
