Here's what happened in the last 6 years under the GOP in case you missed it.

1) 911- This is what happens when you don't address evil in the world head on. How many new government programs are now in place because of this terrorist attack on the united States? How much does it now cost to protect us now.

2) Katrina- possibly the worst natural disaster in U.S. history. How much did this cost us? How many new government programs are in place now because of it to protect us in the future.

3) Oil prices- just about everything we buy or use in this country is delivered by a semi truck. The democrats are more worried about possible environmental impact as opposed to the affect oil prices have on our economy. If they wont let us drill for more oil here then we rely on foreign oil and we are at the mercy of the middle east. Democrats don't realize that your not going to change a nation that runs on oil overnight. This is a process that must take advantage of oil resources we have in the short term while we develop new forms of fuel and more efficent vehicles. Weaning us off oil may take 30 to 40 years to accomplish. Who has opposed the drilling offshore and in Alaska for the last 7 1/2 years?

4) The war on terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq. The president with the democrats and much of the world supported going into Iraq to remove Sadam and any WMD's. Mission accomplished Sadam is dead and there are no weapons of mass destruction. We are however trying to establish a democracy in a hostile part of the world and we are fighting Alquida in Iraq now. Where would you rather fight them in Iraq or in your home town? I believe the military budget including the war is less than the military budget under the Reagon administration.

These are all issues that Bill Clinton didn't have to deal with under his administration and because he did nothing we had 911 happen.

So now your going to tell me that Obama is going to save the day and get the country headed in the right direction again. If he's so great how come he hsan't done anything yet? He was in Washington DC for how many of the last 6 years and what is his record?
