You say increases in taxes are inevitable no matter who is elected and I say that their is a whole lot of money wasted by government for things that are not necessary. These earmarks to bills that contain pet projects that can add up into the billions would be eliminated under McCain. He has never added an earmark on a bill. Check out Obama's record on this I believe he has over 100. McCain says as president he will veto any bill that contains an ear mark. Thats a whole lot different than what GW has done. As I said earlier McCain says he will review from top to bottom all government sponsored programs such as the farm subsidies. Some of these programs were put in place in the early 1900's and are no longer needed. McCain also nearly left the Republican party in 2002 I believe and seems to be respected by democrats and republicans so he may be a perfect fit in trying to bring the two parties together on issues. We know he is most likely the stronger candidate on foreign policy, defense and homeland security. He has experience including combat experience. This is a man that wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth as GW was. I think he understands and will address the fact that the middle class is hurting in this country.

You say your voting for Obama not because you know him or his record but because he is from another party and represents change from the status quo. OK I guess that covers it.
