Why is it that the republicans are proposing to increase off shore drilling for oil. 70% of Americans support this republican plan, however the democrats who control the majority in congress oppose the off shore drilling. Their contention is it might impact the environment. Last time I checked just about everything we use in this country is delivered by a Semi truck. Do you think fuel prices has anything to do with the economy? So I have to ask you is the economy the most important issue for democrats or is it the environment? Also are democrats there to pass bills that the majority of Americans want or do they have there own agenda because they know better than all of us what needs to be done? Evidently the democrats get to wear the stupid pin on this issue don't you think.
